I got a confession to make, I love me some rugby.....and its not about the well built men running around with an egg shaped ball (okay who am I kidding) its a plus though *wink. When I want to unwind, its the surest way of letting go. So this Saturday, I was at the RFUEA grounds rooting for my team, which eventually lost *sad sigh* but too much fun to dampen my spirits.
I was looking for something uber comfortable, stylish and still girly at the same time. So, i opted for this stripped maxi, fitting and with a pencil hem. I always find that black and white stripes always go well with bold hues, hence the edgy red flatties and the neon green skinny belt.
For a summer chic look, I added the straw fedora and the vintage chanel hobo cross body bag and finish it off with a bold lip.
My accessories were few; i love this hello kitty pendant....its sooo cute, a cross ring and tiny neon pink earrings.

The days that fashion overwhelms me and I find myself trying stuff that are out of my comfort zone....but then it would never be fashion wouldn't it?. It was quite a dull cold day so I decided to do a lil' bit of layering with little gothic accents
I L.O.V.E houndstooth print and been on a hunt for a skirt or short for a while and when I got it, I could not wait to style it. I went all retro with the black sweater and tucked it in since its super big. I complemented the look with a  plum rich tone and added gold accessories. You never go wrong with red with black and white prints....so I added a crimson belt then finished if off with black leggings.
This shoes are so vavavum....I do not know what to call them but they are a cross breed of platforms with maryjanes. But I sure loved the polka dots.....Oh and they are super comfortable....they are so weird I could't help loving 'em and I thought they really complemented the hounds tooth print.
I kept the rest of my accessories minimal...

Honestly, I am obsessed with this summer trend......STRIPES. Not only are they adorable and chic, they add that bold and daring element to your look. I recently just bought these pants, ofcos I was concerned I might end up looking like a jailbird but the eclectic part of me had to have em.
I first spotted nautical vertical striped pants on Elle MacPhearson in the fashion star reality show and since then being hoping to get me a perfect pair. They are really dramatic trousers and definitely make a statement. I was concerned about looking like a jailbird but the eclectic side of to me won over so i had to add it in my closet.
I always find black and white goes well with bold hues so i went for the red cropped jacket and a bold bronze neck piece.

I kept the accessories to a minimal and added a non competing blue woven purse
I did a black tank and black booties so as not to compete with the stripes, then
a tangerine hair bow
                                                              CLOSET:
                                                     Black tank top- Thrifted

I find styling jumpsuits to be really tricky, you have to consider your shape and figure, otherwise you find your self in some fashion police cap. This was my outfit for my brother's graduation,I got this butter yellow one in my thrifting escapades....its a lil' baggy which i prefer because it doesn't crinkle around the hip and thigh area.
I particularly loved the collars at the front and back. The back is has a low neck while the front is shorter and peter pan. I threw in the jungle green vest to bring some seriousness to the outfit, but threw it off when it got extra warm
I did the little pops of color by adding a neon pink skinny belt, color blocked earrings and the cobalt blue platforms and matching tweed purse borrowed from my sisters closet.
I totally love the back it soo party at the back while business at the front.
I added a tangerine scarf with black polka dots to serve as my hair band.
                                                           CLOSET:
                                                          Jumpsuit- Thrifted
                                                          Platforms- Pretty woman

                                                          Ring, earrings- Perida centre

I always find the boudoir family quite sexy and its only ideal for me to love lace. Its one of those fabrics thats here to stay and will always re occur in runways time after time.
The skirt i have done it before in a post before so this time i decided to spice the outfit up and pair it with this black lace blouse.
I added a neon pink belt to bring that pop of color
Then.....i carried this white vintage bag with flame details and finished it off with these orange suede bow heels
Then my oh so lovely kitenge earrings from Bri's African Relics collection

Oh my its been rainy chaos offlate and the cold is not making the blues better. Well i decided to show you how to look stylish in this cold weather. Starting up is DRESSING THE SWEATER. You can add a sweater to your ensemble and loook really chic in it. Take a look how i did it:
I paired up this navy blue high low sweater with this DIY turqoise green high waist trouser skirt. Initially it was a vintage dress but i decided to cut of the top and make it a skirt and voila! i came up with this skirt.
I had a hot pink vest inside since it was really off shoulder and i needed a popping color to add some ummph to it.
A slit always gives some sexy vibe to any skirt and i loved the one on this skirt, especially because i could walk in this pencil one.
Remember to always add some hot heels when u are wearing such skirts because you can end up looking frumpy in flats especially for the pint sized gals like yours truly here.
Remember to over accessorise your sweater. Add as much bling as you can
And finally i got this vintage Chloe bag. I so love the purple with the gold details then this gold peep toe platforms.

Of late i have been spotting these button up shirts and aint getting obcessed with them. But aren't they just off the hook
Well it not everyday you catch me in flatties but a gal gots to give them mean heels a break sometimes. I totally like these pointed brown patent ones  especially when am out and about or running errands and want to look chic.
By now u must know how i love animal prints, this one was sheer and quite subtle than most i usually do. I paired it with these high waisted woolen shorts and added this butterfly cobalt blue stretch belt.
I dressed up the shirt with this multi colored bib necklace to add a pop of color to the outfit and finally carried my croc skin leather bag. Oh and my geeks for the definition of the geeky look i was goin for.
The flatties have a distressed bronze tip

This weekend was all about family and friends. On sunday I did a picnic with the gals and this is a polyvore of what I wore.
I did a sheer peach blouse and a nautical striped tank inside, paired it up with high waisted woolen shorts and bandage cream wedge sandals
I then did a lesso head scarf to add some color to the oufit and a pinch of green with the belt. The earrings are kitenge inspired from bridgets collection and i totally love them. It was getting dark and i did not take really good pics so this time i will just add only limited ones for you to just get the concept
